:O How is it you can always make the most beautiful of parallax maps Celianna :( Would you-.. would you be available for hire? :D If not that's okay I understand you're probably busy with 9999 projects already lol, but I 'have' to ask just in case ^_^

Synopsis if you are possibly interested?:
I'm trying to make a vampire RPG based in the 1350s with the black plague, and you arise as a vampire and with the cliche amnesia plot. Anyways, I'm wanting to make the maps an isometric parallax mapping of medieval England (of course made up towns/countryside is good too).

So trying to make it a 'dark/gothic' theme in a "Mature Rating" type of RPG. No sparkling vampires here :P

Hello, I just bought this tileset (I love the looks!) but I didn't new it was a paralax one. Do you have any version of the tileset for non paralax eddition? (I can't convine the walls of the city with the buildings for example) I'm trying to eddit it but it's kind of difficult

It is a regular tileset, I'm just using parallax mapping to show its full potential.

Not quite sure what you mean by 'convince', do you mean connect? Do you want the walls to connect to the house? Try drawing the house first, then use the walls as event graphics instead.

Hello, it is a regular tilset for RPG Maker XP maybe but it hasnot the format of the XV ACE with the automatization as there are not any of the A layers.

I'm now working on this i.imgur.com/J3zku98.png tobe able to create different estructures easily but as you see my edditions skill are not really good.

I tried creating the houses first but the problem is that as the are all in B to E layers just the last one stays and when there are trasparencies there are mistakes.

I think I will be able to tranform most of it with time so I can work in a lot of different cities.

Thanks a lot for the base and your drawings, I hope to see more of your material in the future.

Event graphics are another layer you can use - it's what people who don't parallax map use. So if you find that using one tile on top of another erases it, use an event graphic instead.

Well, thats another solution, but I'm afraid it will mean having too much events at the end

But i'll try, THANKS!

*whistles* Lovely work.  Is this for RMVX Ace only, or what versions do you support?  Versions are not listed on rpgmakerweb.com either.

Sorry for asking, but is there a demo or something similar for all your artistical tilesets? The fact is that I don't want to do a commercial game, I only want to make it for my circles (friends, family, etc).

Thanks for answering,

PD: You are really an artist :)

I love the tileset. This is the classic RPG look that I grew up with, and still have a special appreciation for.

That said, the application in this particular scene leaves me occasionally confused. Because of the extreme height of a lot of these buildings, it seems that navigating these streets involves a considerable amount of guesswork due to the areas that they obscure. For example, the center-left building could easily cover what could be a main road heading westward, the overhang covers the road upward, and I can't quite tell if that front balcony is at street-level, or if the area below (with the crates and barrels) is at street level and you just have to walk below the lamppost and to the left (which again is blocked by the tall building in front of it).

I mean, personally I think it looks great, but the gameplay seems like it could be confusing if too many areas are constructed with such tall buildings.

At any rate, I'd heard about rpgmaker in passing a while ago. I think now that I'm mostly done with school, it's about time to check it out. This is the kind of stuff I'd easily get carried away with :)

It was supposed to be released today, but it seems there's a bit of delay (it's not in my hands). It should be on RPG Maker Web shortly :)
